Some Authors might buy cottages by the sea with their royalty payments. I’m more at the occasionally buying a small rectangle of perspex level.
It is admittedly a bit (or maybe a lot) self indulgent, but I really like it. It’s a nice reminder of how far the series has come. More than that, it’s a reminder that I was lucky enough to find a cover artist who helped create exactly what I was looking for.
I will need to get another one made once the final book is done of course…
